EFFECTIVE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS
This seminar series, developed and presented by Will Bofenkamp, is intended for entrepreneurs who have limited or no financial background and will provide the skills necessary to understand their business financial reports, prepare plans for
growth, and manage their company’s finances on a day-to-day basis. In addition, the entrepreneur will learn how to manage processes to improve productivity and increase profitability.
This is a hands-on, practical course, related specifically to your business. Each of the four sessions will be scheduled on Thursday mornings, 8:30-10:30, with participants being given an assignment to complete before the next session. To help you assess whether this information will be relevant and useful to you, attending the first workshop will be free of charge. If at the end of the first session, you choose to participate in the next 3 working sessions focused specifically on your business, you can enroll in the series for a total cost of $500.
Several working groups may be scheduled as each working group will be limited to 10 participants. As the
program grows, we will structure the groups by type of business for an even stronger focus on the special needs of each industry.
SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY OFFER FOR OUR CURRENT CLIENTS
As an expression of our appreciation for your business over the past years, we are offering this workshop series to our existing clients at a SPECIAL PRICE OF $375.
NEW STAFF MEMBERS
We continually add staff as our client base grows. Our commitment is to always being there when you need help. Please join us in welcoming our two newest members!
Vicki Andren of Bloomington has joined us as an Accounting Consultant to work with our clients in Minneapolis and the southwestern suburbs. With over 20 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience working with a wide variety of small businesses and nonprofit organizations, Vicki is a true professional. She is a delight to work with and goes the extra mile to make sure her clients’ work is complete, accurate and on time. You’ll find her to be a great teacher too, happy to review and explain your financial reports or teach you how to use QuickBooks. Nonprofit work is one of her special areas of interest.
Will Bofenkamp has joined us to help expand our training program. He is an experienced entrepreneur who owned and operated his own business for over twenty-seven years, served as the controller for Fortune 100 companies and has worked as a consultant to over fifty companies in the startup or developmental phases. He has developed an exciting four session workshop series to teach the skills entrepreneurs need to grow their businesses. Read the details about this workshop series in the article above.
DENVER NEWS
Linda Logan, founder and President, delivered our first two workshops to full houses in Denver in February, assisted by Branch Manager, Jeff Platt. Jeff will soon be posting the workshop schedule for Denver on meetup.com and we look forward to working with the business community there. Fiscal Foundations is a member of the Denver and Boulder Chambers of Commerce.
Linda also set up a new business (www.zavella.com) when she was there. Zavella, is a new, Colorado-based company that creates eco-chic apparel and accessories with contemporary styles, unique fabrics, and eye-catching designs. Check out their online catalog.
Zavella’s owner is Sarah Iskandani. We met Sarah through her mother, Patricia McAuliffe, an engaging life coach and one of our long-time Minnesota clients. We love helping new businesses get started! CONGRATULATIONS TO SARAH!
If you know any small business owners in Colorado who might like to attend our free workshops or need help with their accounting, please pass on our name and website to them. Jeff Platt, our Denver Branch Manager, can be reached at jplatt@fiscalfoundations.com or by phone at 303-353-1181.
